From yellow to pale blue, classy comes in all colors. On a beautiful fall day, Lili and Sam gathered with their friends and family at the Harbor Links Golf Course on Long Island, New York. Staying true to themselves and their fun personalities, the couple rejoiced in a bright, blissful day.
Lili looked lovely in a strapless A-line gown with a small ribbon waistband. She wore a classic strand of pearls and wore her hair styled in a simple updo. She carried a beautiful all-white bouquet, filled with peonies and berries.
Lili wanted to make sure her day was fun. For a stylish accessory, she wore a sunny pair of yellow heels. Also, before the ceremony, she gifted each bridesmaid a hand-written note with a “Golden Girls” theme.
Groom Sam also had a few fun touches of his own. His Paul Smith cuff-links were multi-colored, yet modest. He wore a sharp black tuxedo, black tie and black patent leather shoes.
His boutonniere was fashioned with the same berries found in his bride’s bouquet.
Before the ceremony, the couple opted for a “first look” session. With his back turned, Lili snuck up behind Sam. He turned around and they exchanged smiles together.
They opted for a few more photos at the venue before the ceremony began. Next to the water, underneath flowering trees and sitting side by side, they looked calm and ready to get married.
Lili let her bridesmaids choose their own dresses, each with a unique style and color: one-shoulder, thin straps and asymmetrical skirt were all included. The bridesmaids also carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.
Sam’s groomsmen looked dashing in gray suits. They sported black ties and had a fun time capturing some off-the-cuff photos before the ceremony began.
In front of a gazebo decorated with hydrangea, greenery, and blue delphinium, the bride’s mother escorted her down the stone-covered walk to her groom. The aisle was lined with white chairs, adorned with small delicate flowers.
After a heartfelt ceremony, the couple exited to a rousing audience of friends and family. Lili and her friend share a special embrace, reveling in the joyous occasion.
The reception was gorgeous and timeless. Round tables were covered with white linens and dressed up with gold chivari chairs. Each place setting featured an engraved wine glass, as guests got to take home chocolate-covered strawberries, as well.
The cake was effortless and stunning. It was four round white tiers with a cascade of white hydrangea flowers from the top down the front. It was delicately touched with small pearl details. The cake table was decorated with votive candles and the bridesmaids’ bouquets.
Sam and Lili enjoyed their first dance together as husband and wife. They beamed ear to ear with bright smiles and hopeful hearts.
Sam and Lili’s wedding was one that can stand the test of time. It incorporated who they are as couple, as well as all the timeless, wonderful things we grow to love about weddings. We’re sure with their vibrant spirits and jubilant outlooks on life, this couple will make every step colorful and everlasting.
