If you’re going to do a wedding in Florida, you have to incorporate the sunshine. For Amanda and Steve, the sun certainly did shine on their beautiful day at the Hyatt Regency in Clearwater. With a sky-view ceremony, nothing but blue skies could be seen as this cute and totally in-love couple said “I do.”
Amanda looked stunning on her wedding day. She wore a drop-waist gown with a sweetheart neckline, flared skirt and beading. She accessorized with a dramatic pair of silver statement heels and a gorgeous bangle and necklace. She wore her hair in a low style and covered her brunette curls with a finger-tip length veil.
Amanda has a penchant for purple and she incorporated the lilac color into many aspects of the day. Her bouquet was filled to the brim with the pastel hue, with hydrangea, roses, and lilies. It was a dramatic but gorgeous arrangement through every single petal.
The ceremony overlooked not only the Hyatt Regency but the beautiful Clearwater Beach.
Amanda was escorted down the aisle and greeted Steve at the altar. Guests were seated in silver chivari chairs and along the aisle were markers with white and purple flowers tied with white ribbon. Flanked between flower arrangements and friends, Amanda and Steve sealed their promises with a kiss.
After the ceremony, the photographer took a few group photos. The bridesmaids showed their excitement for Amanda by raising their bouquets high in the air. Each lady looked spectacular in a long lilac-colored dress with an empire waist and sweetheart neckline.
Their bouquets burst with white hydrangea and purple roses.
And don’t forget about the junior groomsmen! Amanda and Steve gifted each special lad with a personalized drumstick. How cool!
In one of the Hyatt Regency’s grandest of ballrooms, Amanda and Steve were feted with a stunning reception. Round tables were dressed up with gold chargers, purple napkins, candles and stunning centerpieces with flowers and dangling crystals atop romantic candelabras.
The same flowers from other arrangements during the day were also incorporated at the reception. Small bunches of white hydrangea and purple roses were placed about, along with rose petals.
The head table was certainly special with “Mr.” and “Mrs.” signs placed in front of the couple’s seats. The wall behind them was drenched with purple uplighting and draped fabric.
As guests gathered, Amanda and Steve enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife as their loved ones looked on. The room dazzled not only with décor, but with love.
The cake was traditional and timeless. Even though many aspects of the day were full of color, the cake was surprisingly white. Alternating in pearl dots and crisscross lines, four round tiers looked lovely with added touches of flowers on the top, sides, and base.
A Florida wedding doesn’t always have to be about bright colors and beach themes. Amanda and Steve used the best Clearwater had to offer to not only have a ceremony full of warmth, but a reception full of refinement. Congratulations!
