We are all for customizable wedding dresses, so when Veronica Sheaffer presented her range of pleasantly priced custom bridal gowns and accessories for the Fall/Winter 2014 season, we were really excited to share them with you. Each of the gowns within the designer’s collection and the Little Blue Bow collection (all handmade in Chicago, mind you) retails for under $2,500. But oh, the best part of the collection is of course the design! Romantic, with a playful vintage touch, these wedding dresses are a beautiful showcase of Sheaffer’s timeless aesthetic, which marries classic femininity with modern individuality.
Our favorite looks include Deansie, above, a gold‐striped chiffon gown with taffeta bow at the waist and Chamomile, below, a knee-length lace dress (shown with Daisy long sleeve lace top).
Orchid cap sleeve gown.
Orchid features a detachable point d’esprit train.
Wisteria gown with Daffodil top.
Perfect Bow veil, shown with Deansie gown.
Peony pink taffeta bodice with lace skirt.
Little Blue Bow by Veronica Sheaffer, named after the blue bows inside each Sheaffer gown, allows brides to choose their silhouette, fabric and embellishments to build their individual look. This collection features pieces that can be easily incorporated into the bride’s every day wardrobe after the wedding. Each season, new fabrics and embellishments will be introduced, pulling from the designer’s collections. Also available are an assortment of accessories designed to complement each season’s selections and further personalize the look.
Below, Daisy long sleeve lace blouse with lace border trim. Love how this top totally changes the look of Peony!

Buttercup point d’esprit capelet with lace trim and bow at the back.
